Sale price and currency in the feed
A price in the feed has no currency, a wrong format or a sale price that is not below the regular one. Platforms refuse such products or show a price that does not match the page.

What Basketly does
Basketly fixes the price format and removes a sale price that is not below the regular one. A missing currency or a different currency on the sale price it only flags.
Why a platform flags it
The price is one of the things a buyer sees in the ad, so it must match the page. A price without a currency is ambiguous. A sale price that is not below the regular one is not a sale, and in another currency it cannot be compared.
How Basketly handles it
- Products: separate checks for “no currency”, “invalid price”, “sale price not lower” and “sale in another currency” (all errors).
- Automatic feed fixes write prices as “99.00 PLN” and remove a sale price that is not below the regular one, together with its dates.
- A missing currency and a different sale currency it only flags; you fix those in the shop or the export.
- Feed rules can change a price (by percent, by amount, to a fixed value); the currency stays.
How to fix price and currency by hand
Start from what the buyer sees on the page.
Add the currency
Export the price with a currency code, such as 99.00 PLN. Check the export settings in the shop.
Use a decimal point
Format the price as a number with a dot and at most two decimal places, with no currency symbols.
Align the sale price
A sale price should be lower than the regular one and in the same currency. Set the sale period if it is limited.
Match the page
Make sure the amount and currency in the feed match what the buyer sees on the page and at checkout.
What Basketly does not do
- It does not add a missing currency or change the currency of a sale price.
- It does not check the price on the shop’s page.
- It does not guarantee approval.

Frequently asked questions
Your question is not here? Write to us
Yes. Google requires the sale price to be less than the regular price, and you give the full price in price.
When it is not below the regular one it is not a sale, so the fix removes it with its dates so the product is not refused.
Feed rules change a price by percent, by amount or to a fixed value; the currency stays.
