Meta catalogue (Commerce Manager)
Definition: A Meta catalogue is an object, a container, of information about your products. It is used by collection ads, Advantage+ catalogue ads, Instagram Shopping, Marketplace and WhatsApp, among others. Products reach a catalogue, for example, from a feed that Meta fetches from an address you give it.
For product ads the catalogue is what the feed is for Google: the source from which the platform builds an ad for each product.
Also called: Meta catalog, product catalog, Commerce Manager catalogue

Why it matters for a shop
If the catalogue holds wrong data, an ad shows a wrong price or no product at all. A shop also cares which products Meta shows in the first place: part of a catalogue can be practically invisible although active.
How Basketly handles it
- Feeds: an output address to paste into Meta Commerce Manager and Merchant Center, with links to both.
- Products: catalogue-ad exposure as tiles “not shown / barely shown / shown” (under 100 impressions is “barely”), with a list filter.
- “Utwórz feed z produktów bez emisji” builds a feed of products under 100 impressions in the period to give them their own product set or campaign.
- Reports: the “Visibility in the Meta catalogue” tab.

What Meta catalogue (Commerce Manager) does not do
- Meta gives no conversions per product, so the panel shows impressions, clicks and spend, not purchases per product from Meta.
- A corrected feed does not guarantee that Meta accepts and shows a product.
No. A feed is a file of products; a catalogue is an object in Meta that the feed goes into.
Per Meta: id, title, description, availability, condition, price, link, image_link and at least one of brand, gtin or mpn.
There are many reasons and Meta does not give them per product. The panel shows which products have few impressions and lets you split them into a separate feed.
